 We are a new company with old and deep roots in the nut business. I am John Chambers and I am the Nut Trader. I was born in the middle of an almond orchard in a small agricultural community in Northern California, grew up on the farm and have spent my entire working life in the orchard business as a nut buyer.

Besides buying almonds, my wife and I run a small gift shop, The Harvest Shop, in our receiving plant located in Chico, California. It became apparent to us that it was difficult to buy small amounts of nuts or any other products directly from the growers or local processors. If you didn't want a container or more, it was difficult to get a decent break on fresh product or price. The Nut Trader is going to change all that.

I can assure you that you will be receiving the freshest product available and get the most current prices in the industry. Since we are located in the growing area of all the nut types we sell, we know where your product was grown and what crop year it was grown in. All nuts are USDA or DFA inspected and certified.

As you maneuver through the nuttrader.com web site you will see that we have established price breaks based on the quantity you buy: The more you buy the less per pound you pay. Shipping will default to UPS, unless otherwise arranged, and paying is as easy as entering your VISA or MC card. Also, you can see how the market is progressing by keeping current with the information and pictures I will furnish you on the Industrial Information page.
